Most accounting firms hand you off. We don't have to.

A typical Dubai accounting shop books your transactions and stops at the tax return. Formation goes to one consultant, audit to another, and a liquidation months later starts from zero because nobody kept the full paper trail. Aabi Chartered Accountants is built to hold that trail end to end — one file, from the day your company is formed to the day it's closed, if that day ever comes.

Formation & registered agent
Mainland, free zone and offshore company setup, plus registered-agent standing with RAK ICC (500+ companies), JAFZA Offshore and Ajman Offshore, and channel-partner status with most UAE free zones.
Accounting & tax
Bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax registration and filing, payroll and WPS, management accounts — on Xero, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books.
Audit & liquidation
Statutory and free zone audit coordinated through our licensed audit practice, and voluntary liquidation carried through to final deregistration and NOC.
What clients say

1,500+ clients, a track record you can check

David Sharkey
"I was given the task of setting up a business in the UAE and managing the operations. They registered a DMCC free zone company for us and then provided PRO services. They are excellent and very professional."
Stine Grahame
"We appointed Hassan as our auditor in 2012 and were impressed with both knowledge of the financial issues and his approachability. His team was courteous, professional and friendly throughout the audit process."

How an engagement starts

No scope surprises, no vanishing after the invoice

1

We look at what you actually have

Trade licence, current books (or lack of them), and outstanding filings — free, before any commitment.

2

Fixed scope, fixed fee, in writing

You see exactly what's included before you sign anything — no hourly surprises on recurring compliance work.

3

Backlog cleared before we go recurring

If records are behind, we reconcile first. We don't build a monthly cycle on numbers we can't stand behind.

4

Ongoing cycle, tracked against your calendar

Bookkeeping, filings and renewals run against your specific obligation dates, with reminders ahead of each one.

Frequently asked

Questions we get before the first meeting

Do I need to register for corporate tax if my company hasn't made a profit?+

Yes. Registration is triggered by holding a trade licence and carrying on business, not by profitability. A dormant or loss-making company still registers and still files a return; the late-registration penalty applies regardless of whether tax is actually owed.

What's the difference between mainland and free zone for tax purposes?+

Both register for corporate tax. A free zone company can qualify for 0% on "qualifying income" if it meets substance, activity and transfer-pricing conditions as a Qualifying Free Zone Person — otherwise it's taxed on the standard 0%/9% bands like a mainland company.

When does Small Business Relief end?+

As currently published, the relief is available for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029, for businesses with revenue up to AED 3,000,000. It must be elected in the return — it isn't applied automatically.

Can you represent us in front of the FTA?+

Yes. We manage your FTA matters end to end — tax audits, clarification requests and voluntary disclosures — preparing every submission and response and guiding you through each stage.

We want to close a free zone company. Where do we start?+

With the licence terms and any outstanding filings. Voluntary liquidation generally needs a liquidator appointment, a final audit, creditor notice period, and clearance from the free zone authority before the licence is cancelled — we run that sequence rather than you chasing five different offices.

How do your fees work?+

Fixed where the work is predictable — which covers most recurring bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax compliance. You get the scope and fee in writing before anything starts.

How much does accounting, audit and formation actually cost in Dubai?+

Published 2026 UAE market ranges: statutory audit AED 5,000–50,000+/year depending on company size; company formation AED 5,750–25,000+ depending on mainland vs. free zone. Bookkeeping and liquidation fees depend on your company's records, volume and outstanding matters, so we quote them after a short review of your details — ask us about our current special discounts. See our dedicated Formation Cost and Audit pages for full breakdowns — every quote we give is itemised, not a headline number.
